Description

The Pierre Hotel
From its stately facade to its views of the park to the mural in its opulent rotunda, the Pierre is one of those places that can make you feel as though you’ve stepped into a fairy tale. The hotel’s February couples package (from $650) starts with a private shopping experience: The Lovers’ Trunk includes romantic gift options such as La Perla lace, Godiva chocolate, Molton Brown body oils, a silk scarf, and even a Prada dress—not that you’ll need the dress if you buy any of the other products. Set the mood in your suite by ordering from a special in-room menu (think strawberries and Veuve Clicquot). And in case you decide to venture out, the package includes cocktails at Two-E (from the special chocolate cocktail menu) and breakfast at Le Caprice.

Julien Farel
Ladies only. Hair stylist Julien Farel, whose clients include everyone from Ivanka Trump to Rafael Nadal, is offering a Valentine’s package for women comprising a manicure, a cut, an antiaging treatment with Farel’s Restore products, and a blowout with a stylist ($150). The treatment rehydrates cells in the scalp with a vitamin-infused shampoo and conditioner containing resveratrol (from the skin of red grapes) and bioflavonoids (from the white part of citrus fruits). Think of it as feeding your scalp the elixir of youth.
Julien Farel salons: 605 Madison Avenue, 212.888.8988; 400 Fifth Avenue (on the 4th floor of the Setai Hotel), 212.613.8720

Trump Soho
Speaking of Ivanka… Go over the top, Trump-style, and spend the night in the penthouse suite at her glittering Soho hotel and take advantage of the Valentine’s Fire and Ice package (from $6,740). After your champagne welcome, a private Mercedes will take you to and from Wollman Rink in Central Park, where you’ll get a private ice-skating session to the sounds of a live string quartet. Afterward, back at the hotel, relax with a 30-minute couples bath, massage, and Moroccan hammam at the spa. In-room breakfast for two and a late checkout mean you can keep the romance going for a second day.
Trump Soho: 246 Spring Street, 212.842.5500
